I'm posting on behalf of a friend and wondered whether you could help. She is Scottish, her husband has relatives in Cheshire and they are looking to move from Sussex, to be near PIL and nearer her parents in Scotland. She was in tears at the school gates this morning as she's really nervous about it. The reason for the move is to have family support and to have a smaller mortgage. Their house down here is going through, survey done etc but the one they'd seen in Cheshire has fallen through. If I give you her criteria can any lovely mumsnetters help? She's a SAHM Mum and her DH will be travelling down South for work during the week so she'd really like to meet some like minded people. She has 4 DC, 16, 14, 10 and 8. They found a property and a place at St John Dean College for her eldest but the sale fell through. They have relatives in Helsby and Willaston so would like to be nearish them. Looking for good primary and secondary schools and preferable computable to St John Dean. 5 beds. Budget of £450k. Can any locals help?
