We have agreed to either the TW easy mover scheme part exchange, we have had the estate agents out and are waiting on a reply from TW. We have told them an approx. we would want for our house and I am going to try and get as much off their property as possible, it is a popular location, however I think their sales are slowing a little as this house has been available since this time last month. Any tips on how to go about negotiating house prices for our house and theirs? Extras are another thing as we are planning to ask for a whole upgraded kitchen (on them) any advice on that? Obviously its not the end of the month or financial year as I've read that's the best time for negotiating and the house is currently off plan so not ready until November. Any advice at all would be welcome as we have never done anything like this before. Thank you

Well there's a Taylor Wimpy story in the daily mail today where a kitchen cupboard fell on a child's head so that bad PR may help you get a reduction.

I've seen awful feedback from hundreds of dissatisfied customers commenting on their Facebook posts..might be worth a look.

We walked away from TW twice. First time due to the paltry part ex offer and this time another builder gave us much more house for our money. If you do easymove or part ex they are less likely to give you anything else. Barrat gave us £20k more plus flooring, appliances and legal fees. Current builder paid all estate agency fees, gave us free upgraded kitchen, fitted wardrobes and tiling in the bathroom. Be careful to look at TW objectively, all we could think was 'where the hell do you put a tv?'there wasn't one in showhome and no obvious place to put it.
