Diy Advice for Bathroom mirrors

So looking for bathroom mirrors. Really don't like any ive seen and as I've really enjoyed painting furniture before, thought maybe I can upcycle some pine/timber mirrors by painting them to match my bathroom schemes.

Does anyone have any advice on how to do this. Thinking I need some type of water proof paint as a primer?

Lightly sand and prime the wood - different primers are available for different finishes - then use a satinwood or gloss topcoat which will be durable in a bathroom. You can get various craft paints from brands such as Plastikote which may also be suitable.
