Shrewsbury advice please!

Hi

We currently live in Harrogate but are looking to relocate to Shrewsbury as my OH has started working in Telford. We've got a 14 month old boy. We spent a couple of days viewing some properties and doing some general exploring, there is a property that we liked the look of on Drakes Close, by the river, near Underdale, however we don't know much about the area. Does anyone have any views on the area?

Think carefully about schools? Some schools in the catchment are Ofsted good but are long overdue and not as good as they seem.
Shrewsbury is a great town but areas can flood - not sure about Drakes close.
