AEG Built In Ovens - any good?

I am struggling to decid on which built in oven to choose for our new kitchen extension. I thought it would be Neff Hide and Slide but having read so many negative reviews on here I'm a little scared to make that leap! I saw a fantastically large (72litre capacity) AEG pyrolitic oven with steam in a local appliance retailer and fell slightly in love with it. However, I know little about AEG other than that they have been taken over by Electrolux and are no longer made in Germany - hence potential drop in quality. I would really appreciate any feedback from people who do have AEG cookers (bought within the last 4 or 5 years) as I can't afford to get this wrong! I don't have the budget for Miele so it does need to be within the AEG/Neff price range. Thank you so much.

I bought an AEG about 3 years ago. I love it. I was replacing an ancient Neff which I hated.

AEG also make John Lewis ovens but the AEG ones tend to be higher spec. I spoke to a specialist at AEG who was really great and gave me some very detailed and impartial advice.

I didn't want all of the bells and whistles - but pyrolitic was a must have as was having an oven of a decent capacity. I have a built in thermometer which is fun but to be honest, a good meat thermometer and a calculator are just as good and I rarely use it. I cook a lot but barely use any of the settings so all of my research was pointless.

I decided that steam was an unnecessary expense.

I have an AEG oven, which I bought three years ago. As well as the oven, I have an AEG hob, fridge and washing machine, all bought within the last five years.

In case it's not clear from the above, I really like AEG appliances. They're well thought out and reliable.

My oven is one of the more basic ones, but came with plenty of useful features, including pyrolitic cleaning. I do a lot of baking and need an oven that performs consistently, in terms of keeping a stable temperature, no hot spots etc. My AEG oven does everything I need it to do, and does it well!

I have had a basic AEG oven with pyrolitic cleaning for about 5 years. I love it. Even baking, good features, large capacity. I will definitely get another AEG again. Oh and when I first got it there was an issue with the door not staying open. AEG sorted the problem quickly and efficiently. Turned out one of the four glass panels on the door was missing so there wasn't enough weight to keep door open. No problems with it since.

Just moved to a new place with built in aeg oven.
Only used an Aga before.
I can’t for the life of me work out how to operate the functions/timer etc. Not very digital minded. Can anyone give me an example of how to set the oven say at 200c for 25mts?
I find the manual very confusing. Would be grateful for any help.
