Conveyancing solicitor - greater Manchester - recommendations please!

After 8 months we've finally had an offer accepted on a house yay! I need to quickly get a solicitor in place so I can get it off rightmove.

Anyone have any recommendations in the greater Manchester area? I've had one quote of £700+VAT that doesn't include third party costs... I have no idea if that's good or not!

We used JMW solicitors based in Manchester. I wouldn't say they were outstanding but they were reasonably priced and a large outfit so not as effected by staff going on holiday etc.

Used jmw as well. Probably a bit more expensive than a local firm but no complaints. My solicitor was on holiday the week of exchange but the person covering stepped in and no hiccups.
