Moving to Parnwell,Peterborough

We are most likely moving to this area of Peterborough and on all sites that I have looked at it says it is a Bad Area but I can find no reason to say why?? Can anyone enlighten me, as we have been twice and it looked ok...

It is not the nicest bit of Peterborough. Essentially a big estate with some issues. It is on the East of the city which is not the nicest side either. Any reason why Parnell specifically? There are some much nice parts of the city. If you pm me I can give some more feedback.
