Good idea, or will I regret this?

We're having various building work done soon and as part of this I want to move the back door in the kitchen (arrow shows where I'd move it to) half a metre. It's currently in the corner. Moving it will mean we can use the space between the two doors for units or a fridge freezer. At the moment it's just wasted space, and by moving the door we only loose the space of one unit. AIBU to move it?

Good idea to move it. It would free up the other wall as you say. I have a built in fridge and separate freezer within a 'wall' of cupboards. This gives you a lot more storage space.
