Hello! I'm a shared ownership noob and need to find an independent financial adviser who knows about purchasing shared ownership properties. I believe some IFAs even work alongside the housing associations supporting applicants or as kind of referrers? Can anyone recommend someone or advise on best course of action so I can work out what I can afford (BPHA's affordability criteria don't seem to match the mortgage calculators you get on mortgage websites).
I live in the East of England but happy to deal with someone over the phone or via email.
