Moving to Bristol

I'm moving to Bristol early summer and am looking for good secondary education for my 16yr old daughter, also as I work from home I would like street cafes, nice places to socialise and a community feel. I've heard secondary education is difficult to find in Bristol. Can anybody recommend suitable schools?

My nephews went to St Bede's College. It is a good school, good results etc. Others that are highly regarded but can be hard to get in to include: Bristol Cathedral School, Cotham, Redland, St Mary Redcliffe. Ashton Park is much improved and worth a look. I'm sure others will be along soon with more ideas.

St Brendon's on the west side of the city is a sixth form college worth a look.

Oh if you are also asking about areas to live, nice are Clifton (very expensive), Redland, Cotham, Bower Ashton (expensive), Southville, Hotwells. These are all areas I know. Again I feel sure others will be along shortly with more information.
