No back garden.

KingJoffreysRestingCuntface · 14/05/2017 20:43

The pool.

Upkeep of it. Cost to run. Safety aspect.

All for something you can use only 2 months of the year. Why bother?

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 14/05/2017 20:43

Well there's no floor plan for a kick off that I can see so that would automatically put me off the listing somewhat.

Normally when houses don't sell and are not on a main road or beside a sewage work or failing schools etc, it's because of price. Is it the last expensive house in the area?

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 14/05/2017 20:43

most

bigchris · 14/05/2017 20:44

Gorgeous dog by the pool though

AgentProvocateur · 14/05/2017 20:45

The pool. Too much upkeep.

parmavioletmartini · 14/05/2017 20:45

I had a feeling it might be the pool or the split garden.

Next door which is smaller sold a year ago for £100k more.

Price.

PhoenixJasmine · 14/05/2017 20:45

It looks like there is no real private outdoor space, apart from the swimming pool, which is too small to do any real swimming in, would be a nightmare for anyone with young children and most people would just see a massive expense and headache in terms of upkeep or need to fill it in and re-create a proper garden.

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 14/05/2017 20:46

It says "generous gardens". Is thatbonky at the front?

the photos are bloody awful. Maybe I'm missing something but you cant see the full heights of the the rooms and the borders on the website are really annoying

MrsELM21 · 14/05/2017 20:47

Rooms look quite small, it doesn't look very 'luxurious' for that price I'd be looking for a high end finish...

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 14/05/2017 20:48

I thought the pool was some kind of very large hot tub. Agree - the pool would be very offputting in terms of cost and safety for something not big enough to swim in. It looks like the kind of thing they install in the Big Brother house for outdoor sex romps

99percentchocolate · 14/05/2017 20:48

The pool. The back garden is tiny as it is, adding something dangerous to children (who will be living in a house that size) and demands a lot of upkeep would mean I wouldn't even bother viewing

parmavioletmartini · 14/05/2017 20:48

The front garden is huge and private with walls and gates.

Agree photos are awful. It makes it look much smaller.

Thanks for picking up on no floorplan.

I have 3 DCs aged 4 and under. A front garden is useless to me. I need to be able to supervise them from the kitchen

Chilver · 14/05/2017 20:49

Photos don't show youthe interior enough nor is there a floor plan. Also, pool upkeep might be too much?

northernlites · 14/05/2017 20:50

For a front garden it's too open for a family I'd say, needs some sort of fencing and maybe an area for privacy so it's more usable seeing as the back is pool/deck.
The interior downstairs is a bit 'busy' looking
And I agree that the photos don't do the property justice.

Carolinethebrave · 14/05/2017 20:50

Dreadful photos
No floorplan or sq footage

user1471495191 · 14/05/2017 20:51

A lot of people would be put off by the dog and I think the back garden needs clearing of a fair bit of the furniture.
Wouldn't focus on the gas fire (lots of people looking at a period house want a real fire?) and would remove a lot of the music ecquipment from the living room.
Agree with the importance of a floor plan.

wowfudge · 14/05/2017 20:51

It's not on Rightmove as far as I can see.

AddToBasket · 14/05/2017 20:52

The pool is confusing. It just seems to dominate the back view.

I'd take it out. (Which would cost and be stressful).

BlueSunGreenMoon · 14/05/2017 20:52

The photos need to show the rooms more clearly and a floor plan would help. I can't get any idea of the size of the rooms.

Teardropexplodes · 14/05/2017 20:53

It's usually the price. How does it compare to others in the area?

MarvinKMooney · 14/05/2017 20:53

Does the estate agent use rightmove? I can't find it listed on there - another issue might be that potential buyers just aren't finding it?

Medicaltextbook · 14/05/2017 20:55

A comment on the actual listing - It is in capitals and I feel like I'm being shouted at. I also find it harder to read like that. Seems to be style the estate agents use so maybe that's just me.
