How long did you wait for a decision, and then how long did you wait for the work to be done?

(And do the council have someone they recommend or do you find someone yourself?)

Thanks Smile

Our council allows online requests. I submitted mine about 4pm on the Monday and the surveyor knocked on my door on Tuesday at 9am!! They didnt send me a quote until I chased it up (which I think was down to an admin error) but they told me there was a backlog for the work to be done. The surveyor called round again after I raised a query about the size and positioning of the kerb opening and suggested an approved contractor would be able to do the work sooner - he called someone for me and he quoted us that day and did the work 2 weeks later (with a bit of chasing).
