Toilets; clip on/off seats?

So I have narrowed the toilet I want for my new bathroom down to 2. One has a clip on and off seat/lid for easy cleaning. The other doesnt. I prefer the look of the one that doesn't..

Does anyone have a toilet that has a clip on and off seat? Does it make a big difference? Would you recommend? Does it make it more likely to break?
Any opinions?
Thanks!

My friend has a clip on off toilet. Expensive house but the loo feels very cheap. It also comes off Everytime I sit on it and shift to wipe! thatcouldbebecauseiamfat

One of mine has - I think I've taken it off once, at which point I was so 'uggghh' at the mess around the bit that stays attached to the toilet that I unscrewed that aswell and cleaned the whole thing (boys bathroom, whatever I do ds1 won't lift the seat, I'm thinking of taking the seat away!).
I don't think it would make it more or less likely to break.

We have one..definitely better than our fixed one which we have changed 3 times. And makes it easier to clean around the fixings, no gunk!

We have a Duravit one. Really great to clean. It doesn't come off very easily....
