Getting certificate for cavity wall insulation. How?

We bought the house we are now selling 4.5 years ago. It's a Victorian terrace with kitchen extension. Apparently the back wall has cavity wall insulation, but we were not given any certificates for this when we bought the house. Our buyers solicitor is now saying that we need to provide these or reduce the house by the cost of our buyers acquiring them.

Does anyone have any idea how we would get these certificates?

We don't think the work was done by the previous owners either, so have no idea how we'd find out which company did it.

Thanks for any advice.

Well their solicitors can say what they want, I'm sure they'd love to get a reduction, but just because they want you to reduce it doesn't mean you have to!! If you don't know about it just tell them you don't know, no need to do anything. If they want insurance or whatever that's up to them.

Tell them to jog on.
