We are in the process of buying a 1930's end terrace and I am trying to set a rough budget for things we want to do. I have contacted a few builders and they all want to come around for a quote - bit hard when we haven't moved yet 
. I was wondering if any of you have used an architect lately and what the costs were? We will be doing a kitchen extensions(3m x 2m) and also adding a downstairs toilet so again costs on this? Any ideas on pricing would be a great help. I have already got the pricing on the kitchen units, appliances etc so its just the building works I'm after. TIA (PS. I am based in London)
