Velux Shutters?

Does anyone have these?
We are doing our loft conversion and considering all the options for the Velux we have in our bedroom.
Presumably we'll have the window open at night but can you open the window with the shutters down?If not then I think we'll go for the blinds.

Also,is it worth having the shutter for the inaccessible Velux that will be at the top of the landing?

The blackout blinds are amazing!

They fit inside the window section not the external 'fixed' frame

The blackout literally is a full blackout!

I have to add we had Velux blackout Blinds fitted in our loft on Friday and they are incredible! We have shutters in the rest of the house but the blinds are so much better for the loft.

I don't mean plantation shutters I mean the metal external ones.
