Hello

We are thinking in move to Warrington area ( up to a 3 miles radius ).
I have a boy 3 and half years old and a girl 1 and half.

I need help with good Areas and Areas to Avoid.
I don't drive so good transport links are a most.
Other things we have in considerations are Schools, Crime, activities for the kids and Jobs (Husband is a carer and I'm a Waitress ).

Any tip will be very appreciated.
Many Thanks in Advance

Daniela

There's nothing we can do for you, love... Wink

Why are you moving to Warrington?

3 miles radius from the town centre or another specific point?

What sort of budget?

Truckingalong · 04/05/2017 11:35

Good areas - Stockton Heath, croft, (horrendous traffic though), grappenhall.

Pretty good areas - some areas of padgate, winwick, cinnamon brow, birchwood, callands, Bruche, woolston.

Avoid - orford, Longford, bewsey, latchford

There is an ikea though, so, every cloudGrin.

Sirzy · 04/05/2017 11:38

All Ikea adds is extra traffic on a bank holiday eeekend!

Warrington is a complete shit hole. I lived there for a couple of years.

If you can avoid it, I would. There's literally nothing there.

This might be useful

Warrington is okay. But bear in mind on a carer and waitress wage Stockton Heath et al will probably be out of reach. Best looking at Callands/Westbrook.
