Just asking for opinions on little greene or farrow and ball paints which is better and why

Is it the colours of those brands you like or have you heard good things about quality?

Personally I don't see much difference in quality- I've just repainted the majority of my house in F&B colours but had them colour matched at Valspar in B&Q for much cheaper!

Heard good tings about F&B quality, seen it at a friends house and it looked lovely, looked quite rich if thats the right word but will check out this Valspar

My decorator recommended farrow and all and little green. Assume they are in the same league for quality.

He refused to use dulux or crown and got undercoat colour matched by johnstones trade

Most decorators refuse to use Farrow and Ball - though I personally have been very impressed with the quality and coverage of the estate emulsion. Mine, when I forced him to use it, agreed - he said it was the waterbased eggshell he particularly didn't like and found hard to get a good finish.

Don't get B&Q own brand (colours?) - it's just not worth it!

Read some good internet advice about F&B. The colour matching never quite works apparently as they can't reproduce all the tones in the colour and the finish. The advice from a painter was to use the colour matched paint and then the real thing for the top coat only.

We've used quite a bit of Little Greene in various finishes and have been very pleased. The durable matt really is durable and matt, but it's pricey.

I prefer Little Greene. F&B is just everywhere so I'm bored of it tbh!
