Quiet washing machine - can you give your recommendations please?

I'm just about to move house and happily leaving my washing machine behind.

My new machine will be in a kitchen/family room that I'm expecting we'll spend most of our time in and it's just dawned on me that I should really be thinking about washing machine since ours gets used constantly at the moment.

Does a quiet washing machine even exist? I've looked at decibel levels etc on washing machine specs. but I'm honestly none the wiser.

Any recommendations?

Miele. My dishwasher from them whispers. I suggest their washing machines would be just as good, although obviously a high spin will have some noise to it.

My LG direct drive was quiet for two years...bit more noisy now though sadly.

Whirlpool Zen are very quiet, so quiet I sometimes have to go in and check if it's on! They have a locking bolt on the adjustable front foot to really pin it to the floor and avoid high speed spin vibrations.
Not the most expensive, either.

Always check the technical details about noise before you buy. It's expressed in Decibels (dB). Sometimes retail websites don't have it but the manufacturers should.

Our Samsung ecobubble is the quietest I've ever owned. Of course, it's not silent, however it doesn't sound like a jet taking off and I would highly recommend it!

I have a Bosch serie 4 WAN282BoGB and think it's very quiet. I have it on an impact absorbing rubber Matt.

LG direct drive , mine is nearly 8 and it's still very quiet .

I also bought a Samsung Ecobubble recently and it's very quiet.
