Has anyone done the legwork researching gas stoves?
Which looks most realistic, coal effect or log effect? Any recommendations on manufacturers/models?
It's for an old cottage so we want something traditional and in keeping, although we're not keen on anything fussy/twee. Would be for a conventional flue (up the chimney).
In our other room we have a Morso Squirrel (multifuel) so we would have liked a gas version of that, but they no longer seem to make them.
Any insights gratefully received before I devote my bank holiday to research!
