Temp conversion of sunroom into bedroom

We have a sunroom which dh is using as his home office. The plan is to extend our current utility and move his office into that, and turn the sunroom into a downstairs bedroom for our disabled dd when she is home from uni. We want to turn it into a proper room with tiled roof etc for her (it currently has a glass roof with patio doors to outside) as she needs a downstairs room.
As a quick measure until we have moved the office, dh is thinking of getting some roof insulation and fixing that somehow to cover the glass without damaging the glass units, and hopefully helping keeping some heat in.
Does anyone have any suggestions? As anyone even done this? We wouldn't want her to be in there when it gets colder, so would do the proper conversion after September.
The room is approx 2.5m x 3m.

Polystyrene sheets? Fix with tape perhaps and cover with a plastic sheet
