Valuation

This is probably a silly question but I have someone coming round to value my house as I'm looking to put it on the market at some point in the next couple of months, and I just wondered does it matter if it isn't really neat and tidy? Or should I make a big effort to give it a spring clean? I'll have a quick tidy round but there are a couple of rooms that have a lot of things being stored in them that I really need to sort out and probably won't have time before the guy comes round. Obviously I'd make sure it's more presentable for viewings when we get to that point.

He can only value it on what he sees - however, the price you advertise is up to you.
