Bathroom - order to renovate

My bathroom needs updating but I can't afford to get it all done at once. Basically I need:

Extractor fan installed
Existing tiles removed (may involve replastereing) and retiling
There's coving round the ceiling which needs removing and may involve ceiling being reskimmed
Shower installed
Bathroom suite replaced

What would be the logical order to do this? I appreciate I could save up for two years to get it all done at once but that will never happen, so I propose doing it in stages.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I know it's not what you want to hear but it's a massively false economy doing this piecemeal.

Call out charges will hugely add to your costs. Not to mention the mess doing this in stages.

I'd save up and get it all done at once.

Remove existing suite. Take walls back to brick. Board over ceiling, board walls. Skim where needed. Tiling. Fit new suite. Fit flooring and fix new skirtings.

I agree that doing it all at once is what makes sense.
You could set up a dedicated saving account and get the sum of your choice transfered automatically every month until you reach your target.

Could you save for six months so you know how much you can realistically put aside each month, then get a loan for the rest with the same monthly cost? Borrowing is cheap at the moment, so will almost certainly save you money vs getting jobs done bit by bit.
