Has anyone used any books or websites to find ideas for early 1920s decor? I don't want to go full on museum, but would like to do some sympathetic changes. I am moving (hopefully in a month!) to a 1922 built bungalow by the sea.
We are lucky that there are the original doors and windows. There is a wood burning stove just in a cut out in the fireplace, so I would particularly like some ideas for a sympathetic surround for it.
I would like some kind of shutters I think. Not plantation, but those flat wooden ones that fold back.
I have always had a Victorian cottage, so it's a bit of a change! I keep finding myself veering towards the style I have at the moment! Any ideas? Thanks.
