Renters - where do you search for property?

I have a house which is soon to be available to rent. Previously I have advertised in the local press but not sure this is really where people look now.

As I am a private landlord (I dont go through an agency) I'm not sure how best to advertise to attract a tenant. I assume you can do a private listing on rightmove/zoopla etc. Is this the best place for renters to see it do you think?

TIA

Yes , but these are a closed shop and you can't do a private listing. There are online setups that will allow you to do it.

I look at rightmove, gumtree and in local facebook groups.

I'm looking for a house for DD, there are a lot of private let's on gumtree, no personal
Experience of it.

Gumtree or the local community facebook page.

Always looked at right move, you can pay an online agency a few quid to do the listing for you.

I would never have looked at renting something I saw on gumtree, to me that is associate with dodge-ville.

Also Open rent now looks like it is ok.
