In the process of moving house & compiling the check list of "must change address"

Banks
House Insurance
Phone/Electric/TV License/Internet
Car insurance/car finance/DVLA/Driving License

HMRC
Electoral Register

Am I missing anything glaringly obvious?

Doctor /dentist /school
If you're expecting appointments/follow up sort of things from hospital or doctor then I would personally notify them separately

Also depending on when you're moving, notify sky or tv quite early as they usually have a long wait for an appointment. We had 4 weeks with no TV!

Same with the electric company- ours couldn't move is the same day do we had to get a temporary account with the sellers supplier and then had a few months of hassle with meter readings that didn't tally up.

Sorry to hi jack we are moving v soon and was wondering regarding bank of i went in today and gave them the date we are moving would they be able to change it from that day or do inneed to go on once we've actually moved ? Thanks

My bank & car finance were fine to ring & give a date of address change in advance LittleMissM92.

No fancy TV packages to swap.

Internet can take a while to switch as Openreach can be really slow to sort things out.

Loyalty cards? My Boots double points vouchers went to my old address for ages!
