Benchmarx kitchen undermount sink with drainer grooves

Hi everyone,

I am looking at new kitchens and got a Howdens and Benchmarx brochure from our builder. Didnt like anything at Howdens so chose to visit Benchmarx to see what they have.

I was hoping for something in a pure white which they dont have so may be looking at a cashmere/matt dove grey kitchen.

My question is around worktops. i really want something with an undermount sink and drainer grooves as i used to have it in my old place and found it easy to keep clean.. But the salesperson at the showroom advised me i could only get them with a corian worktop. I have seen this in quartz online but maybe it is something benchmarx dont offer.

I ideally want quartz and did not like the look or feel of corian. Has anyone had a benchmarx kitchen installed with this feature who can give me some information please?
I have found the other threads very helpful but couldnt find any specific information anywhere on sinks.

Many thanks in advance!

You don't have to get your worktop from benchmarx - you could go anywhere. It'd probably be cheaper and more choice at a worktop specialist too. We had both granite and a silestone worktop with grooves in as you describe. So it can definitely be done.

Hi,
Thank you for that advice.. I will start looking around.. I was just concerned if i start looking for certain items elsewhere if it will cause any potential issues with our builder. But i can check with him.. Thank you!
