Bamboo or engineered wood flooring?

We are planning to have either bamboo or engineered wood throughout hallway and open kitchen/dining/ living room.

We want a brushed finish in a non yellow light wood finish. Have been looking at natural strand woven bamboo, and limed oak type engineered.

Does anyone have anything like this? Would you recommend it? It's hard to see from stock photos what they will look like over a large area...

I got carbonised bamboo from the Bamboo Flooring Company in my hall and it looks amazing and is very hardwearing, the company was also really great to deal with. I was so pleased that I then bought some more for another room but, as it was out of stock for quite a while at the Bamboo Flooring Company, I had to source some that looked the same from Uk Flooring Direct. What a mistake. The bamboo is vastly inferior and scratches really easily, I'm sick of it already. They also offered to price match but then messed me about for ages not replying to my price match application, I had to make a public complaint via a review site to get anyone to deal with it. So my advice would be to go for bamboo - mine in no way looks like laminate, I hate laminate - but to be careful where you buy it from as quality can really vary even if the samples look similar.

Somany I don't think its Cornwall (can't remember the actual name of it) all I can recall is that it was relatively wide planks which were long (2m+)!
