Hardwearing vinyl flooring?

We purchased our house from new a couple of years ago and he vinyl flooring they used in the kitchen and bathroom is crap and we want to replace it. The one in the kitchen has lots of deep cuts, colour flaking off and generally looks a bit crap now - I think it was just too soft to be used in a kitchen. The one in the bathroom has survived much better but we still want to replace it.

What is a good hard wearing flooring for a kitchen? Is there a particular type or brand?

I'd buy contract flooring

We've got moduleo wood effect planks and its brilliant. Visitors frequently mistake it for real wood and it's practically bullet proof (nothing seems to scratch or damage it)
