We are about to start first fix on our new build, and need to start thinking about the family bathroom.

We have a walk in shower cubicle 1.6m x 0.9m, and I am thinking about putting 2 fixed shower heads and a hand held in there so that I can get both kids in in the morning!

Can anyone recommend a decent system, to work off an unvented mains pressure cylinder.

Thank you!

Hansgrohe, or if budget doesn't stretch, crosswater.

justdontevenfuckingstart · 17/03/2017 19:46

I agree with dust but crosswater are fine, try also frontline.

Thank you, never heard of Crosswater or frontline so will have a look now.

I usually use Crosswater (same as Bathstore as the companies are linked somehow) or Axor Starck Hansgrohe but have heard good things about Arte Form and Just Taps Plus. If you want to up the spec, there's Vola and Dornbracht.

Another vote for Crosswater. Really great quality!

Aqualisa are usually recommended on here

PigletJohn · 18/03/2017 11:13

Aqualisa mixer, a round one.

You can pay extra for high-tech complexity, but that gives you more to go wrong, and greater expense when it does.

A mixer on the surface of the wall is much less trouble than one that is buried and tiled over.

We have Aqualisa. Very good after sales service.

Aqua Lisa in both bathrooms at old house and bathroom we renovated here

Thanks all. Aqualisa look good, and plumber has recommended them or Mira, so will go with one of those I think. Will be starting several similar threads for tap and sanitaryware recommendations shortly!
