Ideal boilers?

Hi

We have an insurance claim that included our old combi boiler which was a vaillant. We should get like-for-like. The plumber has installed and Ideal and says it is better than a vaillant as it has a ten year warranty. Does anyone have any experience of an Ideal boiler?

I got one last year, I used to have a Worcester. It seems fine. I can't rave about it because...well, it's a boiler and just does what it should wrt heating radiators and water.

The warranty is only valid if you have the boiler serviced each year so make sure you put a reminder somewhere to get it done.
