Have you had a conservatory put up recently? How big and what spec is it and how much did it cost?

Anyone? We've just had a quote that seemed high to me so I hope you can help ;)

Ok so we've recently replaced a conservatory so it went on existing base. I think 3 x 2.5. removal of old conservatory, plastered, tiled, UFH, sockets, blue glass (?) glass roof. Roughly 15 k. What quote have you got?

Ours will be a bit bigger but also on the existing base and just a shell - no tiling, electrics, plumbing etc. The quote we got was around 30k depending on whether we go with bifold or French doors...

Way too much you could do an extension for that!! Is it more of a garden room?

JoJoSM2 · 12/03/2017 10:57

Nope. We just wanted glass. And that only includes 2 walls and roof as the rest is in place already. We will probably go with an extension instead as we got a good quote from a good builder that we have used before.
