Hiring an independent flooring inspector - Is this right?

I think my floor has been installed incorrectly.
Owner of business says bumpy subfloor is not his problem.
I havent paid.

I have to get an independent flooring inspector, dont I? Is there a cheaper way of doing this - he wants 300 quid.

Talk to Trading Standards (your council website will have the details). They will give you the right advice as to what you can do for free.

Is it a laminate floor, and did the contractor that laid the flooring lay the subfloor as well?
