We've bought our first ever house and are slowly redecorating it, but we have no experience in anything to do with interior decor so are a bit stuck! We ordered some blinds (Venetian blinds, white/cream colour) for the living room and have been offered a choice of having decorative tapes on them. I've looked online a lot but still cannot imagine what it's going to look like. Does anyone have them? Do they really add something extra and make blinds look less plain? I know they can reduce the amount of daylight coming through but in the daytime I'll most likely have them fully up anyway, so it's mostly for the look when they are down in the evening. Shall I order the tapes or not? Thank you in advance!
