Purple Bricks - How do offers work?

Does anybody have experience of placing an offer on a house through Purple Bricks? I thought we would be in direct contact with the vendor but have since had a call from an agent explaining that he believes we should up our offer slightly?

No, but Ive just gone on with Yopa and have a local agent overseeing things. He explained I could accept any offers directly, or ask him to negotiate a price. I was pleased about this as takes away that awkwardness of negotiating. Good luck with your buy!

Yopa works the same way as Purple Bricks, the seller can do the negotiating or they can ask the agent.
