How tidy should it be? - house valuation

I've got a booking for a house valuation on Tuesday. Do they look into cupboards etc? Or just the surface of the house that needs to be clean and tidy?

I'd just tidy away the obvious things and make the house look as spacious and well cared for, as possible.
Once instructed, a good EA will advise you on staging before taking the photos.

I'm not actually sure we will be going forward to photos at this moment. We have possible interest from a friend of the family and they want valuations so we can let them know how much we would like. Will just aim for clean and spacious
