Low ceiling height shower enclosure - fairly urgent!

We are doing a loft conversion at the moment, and the height of the loft is 204cm. My DH is 189cm, so it's going to be a bit low, but ok. However, I'm struggling to choose a shower. The shower tray I've chosen is 3.5cm high, which leaves us with about 10cm between the top of his head and the ceiling. The shower room is going to be quite narrow anyway, so we'd really prefer to conceal the pipework and either have a pipe and shower head sticking out of the wall, or an overhead showerhead (which will be a pain to install). Just wondered if anyone else had had a similar problem and what they decided to order? Realistically I only want a drop of about 5cm max between the top of the shower pipe and the bottom of the shower head.
Please advise!
