Concrete kitchen worktops

I've seen some concrete worktops in designer kitchen shops and look amazing; so different. Really on trend and industrial. I'm thinking about the polished look but does anyone know how hard wearing it is and any independent workshops that make them? Dorset, Hampshire area.

It's very expensive - I looked into it a fees months ago.

One of my customers had a micro topping concrete.
I think it might be less that concrete, i had nothing to do with it really.
It has a mdf core and the the concrete is plastered over. pics attached.
Tbh i would go for quart as will be much more chip resistant and you can get some with the concrete look
