Need to know if quote is realistic.

Just wondering how much roughly it would cost to create new shower area and refit bathroom? Labour and installation costs only. Not including bathroom ware, tiles, etc.

Southwest UK.

Thanks

Not sure, we paid £4,600 for ours, small room but we gutted the whole lot and retiled floor and walls, swapped old rad for towel rail, new bath, vanity unit and mirror cabinet plus false ceiling panel with downlighters. I think we could have got it for less but we felt the company we went with would do a good job. HTH.

Our small ensuite came to about £3k. That's fitting it out, tiling etc, not creating the room in the first place.
It depends on the sanitary ware you go for though. Ours is basic, and tiles are plain white.
We have funky vinyl and toilet seat though.

Husband (plumber) did most of ours, full refit including tiling walls and floor, full bathroom suite, was £1100 but would have been around the £4500 mark if we had a company do it.
