Hiding pipes

We're having some decorative work done on our house and I'm wondering if there's anything we can do about some ugly pipes that run. Down the length of the walls in hallway and kitchen. We've tried boxing them in in the kitchen, but if anything that's worse

If you can't/ don't want to box them in then either paint them the same colour as the wall or make a feature of them with bronze paint. ( or any other contrast).

You can do one of the things.
You can either, get a plumber in to chase them into the wall or, with some wood, plasterboard and plaster, you can board over them and paint or paper over it.
