Birds in the extractor

Lying in the bath I can hear birds chirping and moving about in the extractor (directly on an outside wall), is this a problem? I don't want to turf them out of their home (I don't even know how I'd get them out!) but I don't want this to cause issues with my house, any advice?

they might be in the eaves close to the extractor. They could only get into the vent if it was broken (this is common with the ones have flappy little venetian blinds that rattle in the wind. You may be able to see if you borrow some binoculars.

A cowl vent is better. www.screwfix.com/search?search=Vent+cowl

You will need someone wiling to work off a ladder.

Our outside vent cover (flappy one) come off and birds were building a nest in the space last spring - but it was early stages and I just unscrewed the extractor on the inside and pushed the bits out.
This early they shouldn't be nesting? So you should just be able to clear it.
