Silicone sealant on black gloss unit

I was trying to put sealant around the bowl shaped sink and it's spilt onto the black gloss unit and seems to have taken the colour out of it. There are patches of dusky white that look like they can be wiped away but after doing that they come back.help! Is there any way I can 'regloss' my unit?

Is it possibly a thin film of silicone that's still there? Might be worth using a silicone remover - test it somewhere inconspicuous first - to try and get it off.
