Butchers trolley as breakfast bar?

Anyone use a butchers trolley to eat at occasionally? I fancy replacing my kitchen table with something worktop height with stools to be sociable at ( we have a dining table in an adjacent room) but not sure if the trolley needs an overhang? Nervous about going for an island in case I don't like it ( and the builder said I didn't have room tho I can easily get something 150cm x 90cm in imo ) Any advice welcome

Slight overhang is better but not essential for occasional use.
