Canopy cooker hoods

Help! Can I install a 60cm canopy cooker hood into a 90cm cabinet? It has to be 90cm for symmetry with the cutlery drawers below but our hob is only 60cm. You can get a decent 60cm for £100 but to buy a 90cm you have to go up to £300.
Any advice would be great!

you can do

this sort of thing

or this one in 900mm but not canopy type

the spigots come out of the top

Thank you pigletjohn
I definitely prefer the canopy!

so do I, now. Already have one of their 900mm twin-engine stainless hoods, which was fairly expensive. It's very powerful and reasonably quiet.

That second one is really dated IMO !

( sorry anyone who's got one !)
