Japanese soaking tubs / compact baths- any good?

I don't want to cramp our new ensuite with a full length bath. Some of these soaking tubs, where you sit upright but with water up to your neck look very chic... anyone with any experience of them?

Well I'm 75 and I love it. We've had an Omni I and have built a wooden step to get in. Ours is the kind without a seat as I wanted to soak right up to my chin. You feel like 3 years old with the taps above you. Fully warm not sitting in 2 inches of water too. You'll never regret it.

Does anyone know where you can view the omnitub? I’m based In Manchester

I've got one!
It's actually for the dog, in the utility. But the kids love it!
I'd definitely advise to build in a bit of a step or sink it down.

Does anyone with a deep soaking tub live in Northamptonshire and be willing to let me nose around their bathroom? I’m really keen on either a Cabuchon or omnitub bath but can’t find the time to go to their showrooms
