Blinds - supply and fit V shop bought

Have had an initial quote before measuring for Blinds for 6 windows. Had a look in a high street retailer today and the off the shelf black out blinds are approx 10 times cheaper.

Are blinds that difficult to cut and fit? Is the quality substantially inferior?

Would love to say feck it and get supply and fit, and will have to on some large windows, but 10 times more expensive!

Anyone with experience?

*4 times cheaper - my maths isn't great!

Also recommend blinds2go - there's a guide to measuring on their site. We still swore a few times fitting them ourselves mind, but it was doable and saved a fortune.
