Brampton, Cumbria

Hi, we are thinking of moving from Kent to Cumbria, and are considering Brampton. Any feedback on what it's like to live there? Are there good local primary and secondary schools.
If not there, what other area of Cumbria would you recommend? Thank you!

I don't live there, but know people who do. It's a great part of Cumbria... Good location... Near Carlisle and Newcastle, but also beautiful places Nice sized town with plenty going on.
Don't know what the schools are like these days. Are you currently in a small town?
Also consider Alston if you like being snowed in.
