Any bright ideas?

Dd was bought a light up mobile similar to this for Christmas

It is too long to attach to a the cot but our house is rented so I am worried about damaging the ceiling.
Can anyone think of a way to put it up that would be safe and not cause damage? It takes 3 aaa batteries so has a bit of weight to it.

Do you have a light fitting near to the cot or can you rearange the furniture so you can attach it to a light fitting?

Unfortunately not. Light fitting is over our bed and there's no where else the bed will fit.
Was wondering about those command hooks. has anyone used them?

I have ordered some of these www.amazon.co.uk/Command-Kitchen-Utensil-Adhesive-Strips/dp/B000OEJARG which I am hoping will work.
Izzyb it is lovely. Dds is actually a moon and clouds. The lights change colour and it stops her from crying like magic.
