How to find a reliable plumber in Oxfordshire?

Ask around friends and neighbours for recommendations. If you have the chance to look at their work, take it.

If you see a van outside someone's house, ask for a card (or the phone no). Write the address they are working at on the back. In a couple of weeks ask the householder what they thought of her.

If you know a good e.g. electrician or carpenter, ask if they know a good plumber. People tend to hang around with people who are equally good (or bad).
