Designing my new kitchen and was debating having this fridge freezer but think it might be too much. It'll be in an L shaped open plan kitchen dining living room

I LOVE orange.

Go for it I say!!

KingJoffreysRestingCuntface · 24/12/2016 08:58

Yes, buy it!!

Katz · 24/12/2016 09:05

See that's what my heart is saying but my head says buy black it's more sensible.

Here's hoping it goes into the sale then I'd have to buy it.

It is divine but will you still love it in 10 years?

Motherwithflaws · 24/12/2016 09:09

Buy it! It's fabulous!

girlelephant · 24/12/2016 09:10

I like it

Katz · 24/12/2016 09:12

Have until end of January to make decision.

I'm worried I won't like it in 5 years time - but it is very lovely!

Black would be worse somehow once it feels dated. Oppressive and dated.

Katz · 24/12/2016 09:18

oven will be integrated standard chrome/black type
This would be on a wall by itself

Cupboard cream gloss with black granite style worktops (laminate ones)

We did up our kitchen this year and I really wanted an orange fridge but DH is boring so we ended up with stainless steel.

SantaStoleMyStocking · 24/12/2016 09:26

Go for the Orange!! I love it.

BasinHaircut · 24/12/2016 09:29

Do it. Will dictate colours for redecoration in future years but how often do you decorate your kitchen??

ClarissaDarling · 24/12/2016 09:29

We have this! I love it and everyone who comes into our kitchen comments positively on it! Go for it!

notagiraffe · 24/12/2016 09:30

It's gorgeous. Get it.

Katz · 24/12/2016 09:31

It's top of the list. Now crossing fingers it goes into the sale and then we'd be daft not to get it!

It looks fun, but not sure about it being with cream gloss Kitchen. Can you take a drawer front and put it next to the fridge in a showroom?

BigGreenOlives · 24/12/2016 09:37

The previous owners of our house had an orange Smeg with grey painted cupboards. Looked ok but difficult with floor tiles etc

errorofjudgement · 24/12/2016 09:40

Love it!
We have a dark green fridge-freezer that we bought about 15 years ago and I still love it.

YelloDraw · 24/12/2016 10:45

Love it

Katz · 24/12/2016 11:25

Clarissa- what colour cupboards do you have?

Joinourclub · 24/12/2016 11:38

Orange much better than black imo so go for it! I saw a home on £100 k house (or something similar) where they had the whole kitchen that colour. Looked fab. I wish I had the courage/style.

Katz · 24/12/2016 14:09

Think it will be the orange one.

OP posts:
Frazzled2207 · 24/12/2016 14:44

It is fab but would look ridiculous in our kitchen. And I'd be worried about having had enough of it in a few years.

IlsaLund · 24/12/2016 17:51

It's beautiful - I'd buy it

Arriettyborrower · 24/12/2016 17:55

Just had the orange haier fridge freezer delivered yesterday, also have open plan kitchen/diner/living area.

It looks fab!
